What is a Red Team?
Red teaming is the process of creating a comprehensive, multi-stage attack simulation to measure how resilient an organization's security devices, networks, and employees are against a real attack. This allows us to see how resilient an organization's security teams are against a real attack. A well-prepared red team fully exposes security vulnerabilities. During their operations, highly knowledgeable and trained security consultants uncover hardware, software, and human vulnerabilities, creating attack scenarios.
Red Team Stages

Reconnaissance Phase: This is the first and most important phase of the operation. We try to gather as much information as possible about the target, and it is often possible to learn a great deal about the target's people, technology, and environment.
Weaponization Phase: In this step, based on the information obtained during reconnaissance, custom tools are created for the target, and exploits are developed. Generally, software and hardware exploits are prepared at this stage.
Delivery Phase: In this step, the entire operation is actively initiated. Red team members perform actions directed at the target individual or individuals to achieve the objectives of the determined scenario. (e.g., cloning ID cards)
Exploitation Phase: As a result of successful actions, attempts are made to gain access through the target's technology infrastructure.
Command and Control Phase: The malware activated in the target systems communicates with the red team's command and control servers. At this stage, everything is made to look legal.
Movement to Objective Phase: In this step, efforts begin to reach a target determined by the organization. The goal is to reach the target in the shortest possible time without being detected.
